Today I have a quick cleaning tip. It’s so simple you’ve probably heard it before, but it’s fairly new to me. I hate cleaning the shower. Absolutely hate it. One part I especially don’t enjoy is cleaning the built up water, soap, shampoo, etc. off of the shower curtain. I realized today that I can eliminate this step by throwing the shower curtain and liner in the washer. I washed them on hot with a load of similar colored towels and then I just hang them back up to air dry. Pretty simple, right?
Wait, there’s a bonus feature – If your dog is like mine, he tries to wrap himself in the shower curtain while playing in the bathtub (Yes, my dog plays in the tub. I most dogs don’t enjoy baths, but mine is special:) ). The bonus is that this tip doubles as a faster way to wash the dog. Once the curtains are out of the way I can get him washed faster and then clean the tub easier and about that time I’m ready to put the curtains up to air dry.
